The lighting scheme developed for this F&B outlet focused mainly on playing with contrast, to achieve a sense of intimacy and mystique, evoking the feeling of an old Indian restaurant. Vertical surfaces were illuminated to enhance the wood, stone and strong graphic patterns, while outlining the space and inviting visitors to enter. The functional lighting was concealed within the joinery, avoiding all aesthetical clutter and providing the necessary illuminance levels. Lastly, industrial decorative lighting elements provide accent on the tables, defining more intimate sub-spaces and complementing the overall look of the restaurant.
