This town centre will become one of major attractions in the city, for people to gather, interact and perform an array of different activities. It will be a hotspot for tourists as well as residents. It therefore needs to stand out while blending seamlessly with the surroundings.

With this in mind, the lighting scheme was developed under the premise of “many different building facades”. The illumination was based both on the architecture and the activities taking place in each area, so as to convey a street front vibe typical of a town centre.

Visual focus was placed on the entrances, to enhance the arrival experience, aid in way-finding and attract visitors. This was balanced with discrete outdoor F&B lighting, creating more intimate spaces and tying up the architectural composition.
