The main approach when developing a lighting master plan for this 68.000 sqm park was to identify three main categories / layers within the landscape.

Circulation Lighting: Comprises all walkways, cycle paths, stairs, ramps and bridges, including signage elements.

Hardscape Lighting: Composes all non-natural elements such as lakes, fountains, gazebos, kiosks, statues and furniture.

Softscape Lighting: Includes all natural elements, such as trees, bushes and shrubs.

A set of guidelines was developed for each category, in terms of aesthetic and functional requirements. These guidelines were applied and followed throughout the entire project, to achieve a consistent and uniform lighting proposal.
